How to be a Tourist in Your Hometown

A few snaps from my recent trip back to Sydney. It's fun to wander around your old stamping grounds with a refreshed eye and a hand full of 35mm. The space, warmth, greenery and general lack of up-keep of everything was a welcome contrast to Tokyo. At least for two weeks.

Hope you're enjoying summer down in that other hemisphere.

Royal Headache and Circle Pit

I am very, very excited about a couple of local bands I saw last week. Meet Royal Headache and Circle Pit, two of the best groups to come out of Sydney's lo-fi/garage/punk scene in...a while. Their live performances are a whole barrel of fun and the songs are catchy as hell. Royal Headache have recently supported Buzzcocks on their national tour, and Circle Pit the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Alright?

See you at the next gig.
