DJ Codomo

I discovered DJ Codomo (Tetsuaki Shigeoka) whilst trying to find a gig to go to this weekend, and instantly fell in love with his joyful, synthy beeps and beats. And his music videos are really just wonderful. Thank you, internet.






Did I mention his fantastic old-school website? I'm seeing more of these "drag the dialogue boxes around", bitmap-style sites lately, and I just love them. Perhaps that's because I was more or less weaned on computing systems that looked like this.




For the interest of Tokyo inhabitants, he's playing on Friday at Three in my little neighbourhood, Shimokitazawa.

I love it! the start of the second video reminds me of a sesame street video sequence... I half expected them to start counting triangles or something!
I've just posted a bunch of my Japan photos, your My Tokyo guide was really helpful in preparing for the trip!
